About Dappled Things

This blog will house the publicly-available account of my time in Khujand, Tajikistan. I am in this place to teach English and engage in as much learning as possible during the course of a ten month Fulbright Grant. It is perhaps a strange place for an American to be, but as Father Hopkins says, “glory be to God for dappled things.” It is a strange pied-beautiful world we’re chucked in, with many a winding road in it. I hope you like hearing about my little way.
